Why the Website/Blog?

It’s been a bit since I’ve posted here … but I decided to revisit some of my past writings. And make an attempt to be more consistent. I usually get ‘off track’ over the summer, simply because I have kids who are out of school. There is a need to keep them going and entertained. However who am I kidding? We recently made a very quick trip down to Hilton Head. The kids’ spring break was a pretty busy week for us and we couldn’t take a longer trip.. but I wanted to do something with them and ‘get away’ if only for a minute. My friend took her family to Hilton Head for the week, and I thought it would be an easy get-away, seeing a new area and spending time with our friends.

Being Scared.

I started writing this a year ago at the start of the Pandemic, when we didn’t know what we were dealing with or what was going to happen. We were stuck at home glued to the news attempting to rationally absorb everything they were sharing. In the past, I’ve used writing as an outlet for release… and this was no different.
